9th Birthday, December 2004

I was tiring of directly creating the HTML for the pages of personal images that I put on the web, so I decided I would do one of the following:
  1. Write a program that would do it for me.  (This would have been the fun computer nerd way to do it.  I probably would have used Java, but I was considering Perl.)
  2. Find a freely-available software tool that would do it for me, likely better and definitely quicker.  (This is the experienced real-world busy adult way to do it.)
Of course, I chose option 2, using "IrfanView".  Here's my first IrfanView-created photo page, of our most-recent birthday.
